“Bloomberg Global Health Index” made a list of 163 countries from healthiest to least healthy living.
States are evaluated according to life expectancy, causes of death and health risks.
Title healthiest country in the world goes to Italy.
This is a the chart of the 50 healthiest countries:
Babies born in this country have life expectancy between 80 and 90 years. The paradox of this title is that the Italian economy has stagnated for decades and more than 40 percent of young people are unemployed.
However, because of the Mediterranean lifestyle, Italians are in much better shape than the Americans, British and Canadians, who have problems with cholesterol, mental health and high blood pressure.
Just behind Italy are Iceland, Switzerland, Singapore and Australia.
Luxembourg is tenth in the list, Slovenia is healthiest state in Eastern Europe, and Macedonia is on 44th place.
