It is not only delicious, but healthy as well. Cauliflower contains an abundance of vitamins that are bodies crave for, including thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, folic acid, omega-3’s, and vitamin K. It is high in vegetable protein, phosphorus, and potassium.
Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable which means it is high in anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting compounds such as sulforapane.
These compounds can protect you from colon, lung, breast, liver, cervical and prostate cancer due to their ability to destroy cancer cells and prevent tumor migration.
Furthermore, this vegetable is an excellent source of vitamin C, B6, K, and folate. Also, it is rich in panthothenic acid, manganese, potassium and riboflavin.

Cauliflower Pizza Crust
– 1 Large head of Organic Cauliflower
– 3/4 cup of ground almonds
– 1 1/2 Tbsp Dried Oregano
– Sea salt and pepper to taste
– 1/4 cup chia seeds
– 3/4 cup water
First, you need to preheat your oven to 400F. After that, you need to wash your cauliflower or soak it in a cleaning solution to get rid of dirt, bacteria, and pesticides. Note: measure out your seeds and rinse them using a fine-mesh strainer. Then, you need to soak your chia seeds in water and place the mixture in your fridge 20 minutes before use. Rinse the cauliflower and pat it dry.
After that, you need to chop the cauliflower into medium-sized chunks and pulse in a blender until it is a fine rice-like texture. Measure 3 cups of the cauliflower and pour into a large bowl. you should add the seasoning and almonds and stir until combined. Now, you need to make a hole in the center of the mixture and add the soaked chia.
Mix the ingredients using your hand, and make a nice ball. Make sure it is loose and sticky, nothing like the traditional dough. Using your hands, form a flat crust on the baking tray. Make a ridge at the edges, and bake for 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
Add your favorite tomato base and toppings of your choice. Bake for another 5-10 minutes. Enjoy this healthy meal.
