In the Northern part of Pakistan, there are a small population called Hunza people. Those people are the healthiest and happiest people in the world who can live the longest. The most interesting about this population is that they are known as a cancer-free population. Also, they are known to give birth even at the age of 65, and they also love bathing in cold water.
British surgeon Dr Robert McCarrison. Writing in the AMA Journal he reported:
“THE HUNZA HAS NO KNOWN INCIDENCE OF CANCER. THEY HAVE AN ABUNDANT CROP OF APRICOTS. THESE THEY DRY IN THE SUN AND USE LARGELY IN THEIR FOOD”.
In addition to this the hunzas do not consume imported foods and they grow and harvest their own food. Also they always consume raw fruits and vegetables, dried apricots, nuts, different cereals like buckwheat, millet and barley, milk, eggs, legumes and rarely cheese and they never eat snacks.
Maybe the most important thing is the daily rituals about these people is that they eat a little and walk all day.
You should also know that the Hunza people, in a period of 2 to 4 months, don’t eat anything. They just drink juice of dried apricot. Well, this is part of their tradition and they all respect it. The Hunza people are usually fasting in the period when their fruits are not ready yet.
Some medical experts say that this fasting period and their diet is the main reason why they live so long and why they have healthy life. The high amounts of apricots keep them safe from tumor and cancer appearance. This is because the apricot seeds are loaded with the B-17 compound, which is powerful anti-cancer agent.
There are rumors according to which some Hunza people lived up to 150 years. Due to the healthy lifestyle and the healthy diets they always look younger and their women can give birth at age of 65.
This amazing story was published in 1984 and it covered the arrival of Said Abdul Mbundu in London. He was a man from the Hunza people who arrived in London and amazed the security officers at the airport when he showed them his papers stating that he was born in 1832.
