Avocados balance hormones, boost your metabolism and fight diseases
We all know that Avocados are one of the healthy foods recommended to consume as much as we can.
The avocado is a good source of Fiber, Potassium, calcium, magnesium, and contains very little sodium. Of the vitamins it is an excellent source to the vitamin C and from the B group of vitamins, mostly contains pantothenic acid. To a lesser amount also contains riboflavin, niacin and vitamin E. Also Avocados are rich in sterols such as beta-sitosterols which have powerful antiestrogenic properties. They can block the estrogen receptors and reduce the estrogen absorption rate, resulting in increased progesterone levels in both women and men. Avocados have powerful anti-aging properties contained in both the flesh and the oil.
Scientists have recently found that avocados have potent anti-aging properties in both the flesh and the oil, which protect against free radicals. Namely, these fruits can penetrate deeply inside our cell structures, enter the mitochondria and activate its energy production, enhancing the proper function of cells, even while being constantly attacked by free radicals.
Avocados boost your body’s ability to absorb fat-soluble nutrients from other fruits and vegetables, such as alpha and beta-carotene and lutein. Avocados possess antibacterial and antifungal properties that help to support a healthy immune system. Are a wonderful source of the amino acid lecithin, which prevents liver overload, helps to balance weight, and boosts brain functions and lowers cholesterol.
