Diabetes, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body’s cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both.
This is a very unpleasant disease that prevent you from eating various of foods. So, here we want to teach you and show how to threat it, notice the symptoms in the beginning and teach you how to prevent yourself from getting it.
Here are the symptoms that should be noted:
Increased hunger. The hanger starts to show up because without enough insulin to carry sugar to the cells, the muscles and organs remain without power.
Blurred vision. This disease affects the vision because the eyes are producing more liquid, and this can affect the ability to focus.
Wounds that heal slowly or frequent infections. Type 2 diabetes affects the ability to fight infections and heal.
How can we help?
There is not that can be done, but one good news is that there are ways to prevent or delay the onset of diabetes. Here’s how:
You should add some physical activity on a daily basis. Exercise improves insulin action and glucose from the blood to direct tissue, where it can be used for energy.
It is very important, whether you have diabetes or not to maintain a healthy body weight. If you’re overweight, the more weight you lose, the more you reduce your chances of getting diabetes.
You should eat foods without refined carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, whole grains and monounsaturated fats (like olive oil).
We don’t have to remind you that you should take care of your health. Regularly measure your blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides. Ask for help if you need it, there is nothing bad at doing it.
