Avocado lowers cholesterol!


Scientists have analyzed the results of 10 previous studies about the influence of avocado on health. The results, published in the Journal of Clinical Lipidology, reveals that daily consumption of avocados can regulate cholesterol levels.

Our research has shown that avocado can regulate cholesterol levels and reduce triglyceride levels, said lead researcher Prof. Sachin Shah.

AVOCADOS is nutritious, low in cholesterol and sodium, it is a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, K and folic acid. 100 grams of avocado contains:

26% of vitamin C,
20% of folic acid,
17% of vitamin C,
14% potassium,
14% vitamin B5,
13% vitamin B6 and
Vitamin E 10% of the recommended daily dose.

The results showed that people who daily consume avocados have a lower level of bad (LDL) cholesterol and higher levels of good (HDL) cholesterol. Cholesterol level dramatically affects the risk of heart disease.
